PLANNER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Planner agrees to schedule and meet with participating suppliers during the span of official hosted buyer hours.
  2. Acceptance into the Hosted Buyer Program is non-transferrable.
  3. Cancellation: From time of your approval into the program, if you cancel your participation, you will be required to reimburse MPI the full amount of your participation package. This includes your flight costs, hotel nights (3) and conference registration.
  4. Any hotel cancellation fees, incidental expenses, and additional room nights will be the responsibility of the planner.
  5. If a planner is not well and thinks they will not be able to make it to an appointment, they must notify MPI’s Hosted Buyer team (number will be provided on site) at least 1 hour prior to their first appointment. An MPI representative will come to your hotel room, offer aid, and document your illness. If this process is not followed, a planner will be considered a no-show and will then be charged gratis benefits received according to the planner package chosen.
  6. Planners understand that if scheduled appointments are missed, MPI is contractually obligated to compensate the supplier for the missed appointment.
  7. There are no acceptable reasons for missing the official hosted buyer time frames – this includes education classes, focus groups, board meetings, conference calls, networking receptions, etc.
  8. All planner participants must be present at the conference center by 15:00 on Saturday, 31 January 2015 (NO EXCEPTIONS)
  9. Any feedback or quotes may be used in future program material.
  10. MPI reserves the right to provide an alternative airfare option, in lieu of a airfare credit when a Lufthansa voucher (economy class) for flights is applicable.
  11. There will be a mandatory welcome reception and luncheon for planners who have been accepted into the program.
    • Welcome Reception - Saturday, January 31.
    • Planners Luncheon – Sunday, February 1.
